FAQ

Straight answers.

How a FLIPRO presale renovation works, what it costs, and how the bill is settled when your home closes.

How it works

What does Renovate Now, Pay at Closing actually mean?

We manage and deliver your presale renovation, and your FLIPRO bill is settled from the sale proceeds at the closing table. You never fund the construction while the work is happening, and every cost is agreed in writing before we start.

Who manages the work?

FLIPRO does, end to end. One accountable team from the first walkthrough to the final one. We manage the trades, hold the schedule and walk you through the progress at every stage. Be as involved as you want to be, or sit back and watch it come together.

How does a project start?

With a free walkthrough and a fixed written estimate. From there we set a renovation strategy built to maximize your sale price, then put the scope and the costs in front of you in writing. Approve it, ask us to revise it, or walk away. No work starts until you sign.

How long does a renovation take?

It depends entirely on the scope, which is why the timeline is settled in writing during pre-planning rather than estimated on the phone. A single room is a different project from a whole-home renovation, and your agreed schedule reflects that.

Cost and terms

When do I pay?

At closing. Your FLIPRO bill is settled from the sale proceeds at the closing table, exactly as agreed at the start.

How is the price set?

Every cost, fee and term is listed in writing for you to review before anything begins. We organize and provide the documentation a renovation requires, including insurance, contractor licensing and permits, and the agreement itself.

Do you check credit?

We do run a credit check, but the decision rests on the property's potential, not on your score.

What if my home does not sell?

The market can move while a home is being renovated and listed, and we will not pretend otherwise. That risk is exactly why nothing at FLIPRO starts on a handshake: the costs, the terms, and how our bill is handled are agreed in writing before work begins, so you know where you stand before the first trade arrives.

It is a fair question, and it deserves a straight answer for your specific situation. Ask us during the walkthrough and we will take you through the agreement line by line.

Qualifying

Does every property qualify?

No. A minimum equity requirement applies, and not every property qualifies. Before anything is signed we run our own research and market analysis to work out whether the sale of the finished home supports the cost of the work.

That decision happens up front, so nobody spends weeks on a project that was never going to work. If the numbers do not support the renovation, we will tell you.

What decides whether my property qualifies?

Four things:

  • What the finished home could sell for
  • A minimum equity requirement
  • The scope and cost of the work
  • Our own market analysis

  • Staging and styling
  • Roofing and exteriors
  • Garage and attic conversions
